CDL Driver for Heavy Construction Equipment Transport
Job Summary:
JRM Equipment LLC is a California based equipment rental company with opportunities in the East Bay for full-time/part-time Class A CDL Drivers with experience hauling heavy construction equipment. Must have minimum 2 years of DOT Commercial driving experience hauling heavy equipment, safe driving record, and comply with regular drug testing requirements.
Equipment delivery/pickup to construction job sites in Northern California/Bay Area.
Job Requirements:
- Class A CDL, minimum 2 years of DOT commercial driving experience hauling heavy equipment
- Safe driving record
- Comply with company drug testing program
- Basic operation/safety knowledge of heavy construction equipment to load/unload
- Knowledge of tie down/securing equipment for transport
- Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections
- Work with job site personnel to coordinate loading/unloading of equipment
- Must wear Safety/PPE and comply with all safety requirements while on the job
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
- Customer service, teamwork and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic work place with changing priorities as needed
- High School Diploma or GED
